Wheels Bearings
Hi all,
Anyone have an idea on how much im looking at for rear wheel bearings?
Also, what is involved in fitting them? do i need to have them pressed in? is it like the glanza where they sit in the back of the rear disks if that makes sense. and so its best to get new rear disks aswell?
Cheers

Re: Wheels Bearings
rear wheel bearings on GTi are integral with the hub can get them on ebay as an example
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FBK823-FIRST-LINE-WHEEL-BEARING-KIT-Suzuki-Baleno-Swift-GTi-Rear-/150665163606?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item231457f356
not cheap.
I have heard of the hubs being machined out and new bearings fitted but no idea what was done.
Pitty I tossed a good pair several months ago as nobody wanted them

Re: Wheels Bearings
to replace them undo the rear hub nut after removing the wheels, calipers, and disks, possibly use a hub puller though I have known them to come off by hand, replace with new. do hub nut up. no need to replace disks but if they need it (8mm min I believe) then do it now... make sure tab on hub nut is tapped locked, might be worth getting a new hub nut at the same time.
