ACL Race Bearings
Does anybody know how much I should be paying for a full set of ACL race main, rod and thrust bearings?

Re: ACL Race Bearings
Seen these before, haven't heard of anyone using them.
The ACL's come highly recommended by a number of people.
Had a quote of £160ish delivered for mains, rods and thrusts, but I don't know of this a good price or not.

Re: ACL Race Bearings
dont go with the toga set, i had some and do not recomend, i did 1500 ish miles before i had to pull the engine to see what some knocking sounds were, when i looked at the bearings they wernt exactliy wearing well or evenly got them from that flatlander place but it was one big headache when i was trying to sort them out and to complain, basicly the main office is in holland and the uk branch is a phone in a warehouse with a few din`s on the end of it, it could`v changed by now mind but il never use them again
i got my acl rod and mains from a place in essex, i used suzuki thrust as they had more choice of sizes, cant remember the price as it was a couple of years ago but worth every penny when you see the quality

Just been googling Toga, there seems to be a lot of controversy about the "high velocity" oil pumps they make that cost more than the OE part but only as good.
I thinks I might steer clear.
What did you pay for the rods and mains Gary?
If you don't mind me asking.

As far as i can make out the oil pumps are identical in every way to OE. They stamp HV on it charge more and people notice a difference in oil pressure, but then anyone would notice a change in oil pressure if you change a worn oil pump for a new one!!
