Engine Transplant

Hi im wanting to put my gti engine into a newer swift chassis (1.0/1.3 gls) Such as THIS I was wondering if its a pretty simple swap? Also will the sideskirts and bumpers off a 89 gti fit onto these? And also the seats?

with a 1.3 everything is the same the skirts will need a little metal bar to sit on either from a gti or fabricate one yourself. as for the 1.0 i think one of the engine mounts is slightly different gary will be the man to talk to. seats and all that jazz is the same

Hi steve cheers for that, is it the 1.3 gls? or the glx? or are they both compatible?

yea both have the same block and gearbox is same except internals same goes for engine internals
