Re: My AWD Swift GTI
Just had a look at that Nippon challenge, with 250 BHP at the flywheel the car has to weigh more than 1010kg, I don't think I could fit enough cement in the back

Re: My AWD Swift GTI
Spent all weekend working on him, so update:
Cultus Cams fitted:
Set about putting him on a diet, managed 20kg from sound proofing & unwanted bits, add the 15kg saving on the seats & he is now 35kg lighter.
Nitrous install started
External cutout fitted & plumbed in fire extinguisher
Added the 16v stickers, he now looks like this:

Re: My AWD Swift GTI
surely a new gear knob would reduce a bit of weight ? i cant stand the original, just doesnt feel right in my hand so i went for a cheapo metal one from poundstretcher i think it was. cheap but effective. I've been watchin this thread for a few weeks now, im suprised how much a swift can change into a racing swini (swift-mini) big thumbs up for the hard work

Re: My AWD Swift GTI
well since he cut the tank in HALF i'd say it fits roughly HALF of what normal justy's tank fits, of course i could be wrong...

Re: My AWD Swift GTI
The tank takes just under half the amount of fuel, it will hold more than enough for my needs. I like the standard gear stick especially in its new position

Re: My AWD Swift GTI
I would guess about £20.00 worth, so not much, but then I will be carrying far less weight

Re: My AWD Swift GTI
Hi,
I think Swift/Justy tank is 31 litre tank.
So it will be 15 litres... so not far off £20.
Cheers
