Changing oil when engine is cold
It's nearly time to bring my swift back to life. Ideally before I try turning the engine over I want to replace the plugs, oil and oil filter.
It hasn't been started for maybe 8 months so am being very cautious as I don't want to do any damage.
Any advice on changing the oil when the engine is cold? or is it best to warm the engine on the old oil and then change?
And is it best to manually crank the engine first before properly trying to start it?
