the right sort of things, but im after some top quality items realy, iv only had them on for 2 years, i guess the salt dusnt help
i was going to make some myself , but by the time i bought the left and right handed tap sets and the material it cost more than buying a set
i might go for a different setup though
heres a pic of mine before they were fitted

Gary

How can you tell a good quality one from a poor one? What to look out for?
That same site has "ultra high performance" ones as well but im guessing you have seen them and they must be crap!

Did you buy those toes or did you make them? If bought, where from?

I want to make a set as it looks really basic but i dont know where to get tube with internal thread. Any ideas? Other option i considered was a length of threaded rod, which i have (whicks/£2.95) and some femail rose joints. What you reckon?

the realy good ones have teflon coating on the bearing surface and cost £20 or more each
but im looking into other methods for the toe setup Very Happy

i bought them from a bloke on team swift, £50 inc shipping and tax, i woz well chuffed coz i was given some silly quotes from other people who made them Suspect
the main thing about these bars is that you need left and right threads on each end so you can still adjust the toe
but you can use a bit of m12 stud and put a female r/h rodend on each end with a lock nut and use the o/e cam bolts to adjust aslong as you make the centres of the holes the same length as o/e bars there will be no probs, you will have to make some sort of spacer as the bearing in the rodend isnt as thick as the tube in the o/e rubber bushes
i was thinking of doing it like that but i was worryed they might buckle under cornering loads, so it wont be as strong as getting a proper set done, but looking at the o/e rods they arnt that strong either

its up to you mate
