Flywheel/Clutch Problem
having an issue with my clutch pressure plate hitting the inside of my box and obviously wont disengage
after talking to a few members and andy at suzuki rd he suggested it could be the flywheel
which is from rv engineering the item is apparently a standard suzuki gti flywheel which has been machined a bit
he said it could be a flywheel from a 8v which use a different flywheel which would cause the clutch/pressure plate to pertrude slightly more than it would normally
any other ideas

Re: Flywheel/Clutch Problem
check for movment in the flywheel as in back and forward. put a screw driver or somthing behint the flywheel and against the engin block and push if it moves alot the thrust warhers could be worn.

been talking to suzuki rd and rv engineering
andy at suzuki rd is trying to blame rv engineering and is claiming there are 4 variations of flywheel for the g13 engines?
rv engineering say thats bollox getting a standard clutch and standard flywheel on the weekend to try and make sense of wtf is going on
ive never heard of this problem ever
if you want something done properly you have to do it yourself

Problem is solved the flywheel that came from rv engineering had the wrong offset causing the clutch not to fit properly
very annoying considering this should have not been an issue
not when you buy bolt on upgrades that should be hassle free
considering this isnt my cock up still costs me a lot of time and have been left out of pocket even tho rv engineering are going to swap the flywheel, shame they wont buy me some new gear oil, spigot bearing, petrol money and shipping cost's
