Hi,

G10, G13B, G13BA fits and even G13BB too.
You will need a correct ECU with wiring harness to run any motor you want.
If you change gearbox to 1600AWD, you can fit a Vitara G16 enigne to it too.

Cheers

a 94 justy is a mk1 made by subaru (the square shape), not a mk2 a suzuki swift chassis(made my suzuki).
I might be wrong but the oldest mk2 justy iv seen is a 96
if its a 1.2 its a mk1, 1.3 is a mk2

any engine can be made to fit but i dont think a suzuki engine will bolt straight in like a mk2.

you might be better off checking the American justy forums, im sure someones put an impreza engine in one.

Oh.... if it is pure Subaru, then Ross is right.
I assumed Suzuki Justy well that Subaru call them.
Flat 4 sounds fun!Someone put Impreza into Rover 200/25/ZR so it must be possible with skill.

I think it must be a mk1 as it is a 1.2. Might be worth just turbo-ing the original engine then?

So what's the difference between the mk1 and 2 that means the engine doesn't fit?

I assume mk1 is Subaru build/design cars which uses Subaru 3 pot engines.
Suzuki Justy is rebadged Swift AWD.
This mark will be able to use Suzuki engine and so on as well as 4-5 different engines.
G10, G10T, G13B, G13BA & G13BB.
G10 is 3 pot 993cc engine and in North America, you have G10T(Turbo).
G13B is DOHC 16v 1298cc engine and G13BA is long stroke 1300cc.
G13BB is from newer Jimmny, I think.

All of above engine code uses same bell housing design.

the mk1 & 2 are completely different cars.
as Atchi said you can bolt any g series engine into a swift chassis they all fit on the same mounts.
the mk1 justy isn't a swift chassis. its subaru's own car (not re-badged)
i don't know it doesn't bolt straight in, i've never owned a mk1 to look, but the idea it would bolt straight in is inconceivable as there is no relation between the cars at all.
