Re: MY swift gti keeping one alive!!!
I thought my Gti had a bad rust problem but not half as bad. Just finished all the welding on mine, new sills, new rear wheel arches, floor pan and front inner wings. Keep up the good work pal. Good too see that someone else is keeping one from the scrapyard.

Thinking about it your mani is for carbs? So it sould be pointing upwards, mine is flat, square with the engine, so you might be ok

Hi,
I think they are for TBs not carbs Gary.
I think inlet tube will be too long to fit in Swift.
If you use short runner like Gary's with bent trumpets which has fileter mount. It may work.
Or take out the servo....
Cheers

Re: MY swift gti keeping one alive!!!
Hi,
You can do what Mini used to do.
Fit a remote servo which will assist front only.
Or you can build your right leg muscle!
Cheers

Re: MY swift gti keeping one alive!!!
Here is just a little update, cleaned inside of the car today took 2.5 carrier bags of sound deadening crap out and also took alk the excess crap out the engine bay.
Ive got a microteck mt4 ecu with handset now thanks to strider and i got myself a birthday present which is a new bucket seat :-) should be collecting yhe bottom end from the engine shop today and gonna give them my head to acid bath and wash the re assemble with my fast road cams.
Sad part about today is that ive sold all my eclat alloys :'( and got fuck all for them but oh well shit happens least my car had a engine now lol.
