roll bars

does anyone no were you can get anti roll bars made up (rear justy anti roll bar)

I have stock gti bars if thats any good to ya?

I dont know but if you find out let me know as if its the right size and price ill have one too.
Back home any suspension specialist could get the made, just needed your existing one as a template.

Does the 4wd chassis use a different arb then?
You can get kits on most motorsport parts supplyers to make your own up
Thats where I got my rear arb mounts for my 3cyl chassis

Yes mate the awd boot floor is much different and the rear sway bar is mounted too the rear subframe not the boot floor, also differenr shape to suit drive shafts etc.

only got the mounts as uk 3cyl shells dont have rear mounts fitted

well i was having a look last nite at the sizes of the justy bars and the size of a swift gti front one front justy bars fairly big already 25mm but the justy back one is only 16 mm however when i was looking i glanced back at the gti front one 22mm and thought hhmmm offered it up (upside down) and im fairly confident it will fit the chasis etc same with simular bends so all that would need doing is to heat the sides of it to adjust the shape to fit round drive shafts and maybe shorten it slightly but there plenty of length so im goin to try this in the next couple of days or so what do you think ??

Do it, you cant beat a free upgrade
When I put my 22 on the rear it made a masive diference
I swap between sizes on the front for summer winter, but thats just me

Made some good progress today got it dun just gota get it blasted n painted 2mz now will get pics up wen my fone works lol

swift gti front justy rear



tacked swift bar to to the bench and heated it and bent it all copying the justy one

Placed it in a jig made from the justy bar to check it

another checking jig

hammer forged the ends flat and cut to length and drilled layed next to justy rear

shot blasted ready for spraying

Good work mate, do a run of them and im sure people will snap them up, depending on the price of course

All done and yes dominator I'm sure I would but I got my dad to do the bending for me as has can do it better and I suggested doin more and he wasn't up for it because it took so long all in all it took around one whole working day but the upgrade will b worth how much wuld people pay

what size is it?
id pay near 100ish if the heating doesnt damage the effectiveness of the steel

It's 22mm and we made sure we only heated it once on each part as much as poss n made sure it was heated gently and thoroughly to ensure it did split tear or kink I'm pritty sure u can heat it around 3 before it changes asking as it cools naturally
