Whats the most powerful swift?

would love to know the most powerful reliable swift is making.. also the set up.

Hi,
Andy aka Garndi has one and built one engine for Jerry.
They are about 250+Bhp at the moment.

I know there is 355Bhp RWD in Teamswift.
You will need forged conrod, ARP bolts(ask Andy), Forged pistons, O-ringed and +1mm over size bore.

Turbo wise some uses TD04, Garret GT series and so on.
Steve should be able to tell you what will be good as he is making kits.
I'm hoping to use Saab 900 9000 9-3 2ltr Turbo.
I think It is Gt25 turbo for my spare engine.

I think ECU needs to be stand alone. There are Haltech, MegaSquirt and so on.

I think you can get 180-200Bhp from std engine with Turbo chip from Andy or Steve. I think you can use TD04 for this setup. I'm hoping to buy Andy's Turbochip and keep it until my furure built days. Then I'm got used to it I will go stand alone ECU later with bigger turbo.

You will need to change injectors as well as std fuel pump for bigger power.

the most powerfull swifts i know, are runbag's mk1 rwd with 355hp, suzuki's pike's peak cultus with 2 supercharged engines about 800hp total


and some guy's twin engine turbo swift with i think 520 hp total

the most powerful swift with 1 engine was dmw daves 327 whp which is aroung 368-375 bhp after that is probably runbag but its not all about power traction is more of an issue

surely the traction wouldnt be such an issue with 4wd though..
