The Janspeed could probably be welded. Duno how long it would last though.
Ye the lights do look a bit shit in that picture. Not quite sure where to go with it styling wise. Its pretty much how i want it so ill probably leave it at that. Needs a respray, front bumper and bonnet as well as the alloys refurbin but part from that hardly any rust or anythin so its all good.
Might get a justy and go the AWD route. Looking at getting a TD04 too.
Its gona be a beast

Re: The Swift, currently!
Lol thanks mate but it looks bad up close. Front end damage (bonnet and bumper), shabby paint, nasty red interior, gearbox and manifold (nealry sorted) blowers aint working etc etc. All can be sorted though with a few quid.
I live in Stafford near Birmingham. The owner from Plymouth did a good job. The guy who had it before me though had his mate reverse into him and at some point all the other issues came up.
Im gona try n restore it then get it turbo'd. Then ill be happy

Not to bad then, more time than money! mine took me a month just welding it then i had to spray it as it was multi coloured because it is actually a combination of 4 different swifts that i've owned in the past!!
i have to say it's been through the wars a bit ... blown gearbox two days after getting it back on the road (on route to a concert mrs was not happy!!!), went into the back of someone had had to rebuild some of the front end.Just to name afew of the setbacks i've had!! but she is still incredibly reliable.

Haha sounds like you put some serious time into then! How much did your respray cost? Im gona have to be looking into it soon.
Im hoping to have it fully ready for Le Mans next year. The last 2 times iv gone in a KA and my mates 306! The thing that i liked about GTI's is that there have been none at there in the 2 years iv been, so ill be quite excited to get this one there when its turbo'd and in good condition.
I went with the Toyota GT crew this year..mostly Starlet owners. Was great fun
