1993 Swift GTI forsale

Hi,

I am selling my L reg Dark Matallic Blue 1993 GTI import, it all runs good, has very little rust, sills are good, has koni shocks all round, currently on standard springs, but I do have 35mm spax lowering springs for it, full stainless twin exit powerflow exhaust from manifold back, janspeed manifold, pipercross air filter fitted into standard airbox, OMP front strut brace, blue powder coated rocker cover, gearbox re-build 2 years ago, headgasket done in 2007, seats and stearing wheel from a 1990 gti, 7 spoke 15" Adikt High Alloys, good tyres on the rear, fronts will need changing soon, spare is in good condition, 86,400 miles, MOT until 23rd June 2013 and Tax until 31st June 2013. I have had the car since August 2005 and it has been garaged every night. I bought the car when it had 69,000 on the clock. It has been serviced regularly, but there is no history of this as I have done it myself. The only surface rust is on the rear drivers side wheel arch, there are scratches on the front bumper on both left and right corners, there is also a scratch on the passenger side of the rear bumper, there is a small dent by the petrol cap, the wheels have kerb marks on them, there is also a defect in the paint on the roof. All in all for a car that will be 20 years old this year it is in very good condition. My only issue is that I am not really sure how much I want for it, so if you are interested or have any suggestions then let me know or make me an offer. I am in Eastbourne in East Sussex, so if anyone is interested and wants to have a look then just let me know.

If it doesn't sell in the next few weeks I will probably break it and sell the parts, although I would much rather it go as a whole car to someone who appreciates the beauty of the Swift GTI.

how do you know its a import picture of engine ?

Hi, I know it is imported as my V5 states that it has been registered overseas, and this was in 1993, and the car was first registered in the UK on 3rd Feb 1994, and was then sold to the previous owner to me on the 8th Feb 1994. It is still a standard UK spec swift as far as I am aware.

Hi, not too sure how much I want for it, in an ideal world I'd love to get somewhere near £1500, but in all reality I know second hand cars in general are not worth much nowadays, I'm open to offers. If you want to any more info or want to come and see it let me know.
