1.3 and GTi bottom end?

Wots different between the 1.3 and GTi bottom end? does any1 know?

Hi,

G13B 1298cc Gti engine has shoter stroke of 75.5mm.
G13A 1324cc engine had 77mm stroke and smaller piston pin of 17mm.
Gti engine has 19mm piston pins and I have been told both con rods and cranks are forged item. I'm not sure what G13A items are like.

I think block itself is same internals(conrods & crankshafts) are different.

wot about a justy bottom are they the same cc as a gti, with same stroke and bore?

I think Justy is G13BA so it will be a same block but different crank shaft and conrods. I'm sure Steve, Andy, Sam..... many people who make their Justy/Swift can tell you about it better then me!

The Justy block is the same as the GTI one, Crank & rods are different. My Van has a Justy block with GTI crank & head etc.
