do i a

That looks nasty mate id try and repair it get some decent rust killer how deep is the rust i take it its a little more than surface rust lol

Hi Steve, yeh, looks bad mate. The dreaded Achilles Heel of the Swift strikes again!
I think you could perhaps cut and shut/graft new metal in, but it's in a fairly critical area so maybe the best answer would be to replace the lot with new as you would if it were accident damaged. Either way it needs to be done by a really good welder/fabricator. Wish you luck mate. edd.

sorted plate welded it got the tracking done and all seems to be well just need some tyres now
happy days gonna do my seals next week if the weather is good then chassis should be cushtee

Good news then! glad you've fixed it mate, looks a good job.
With regards to tyres I got Goodyear Eagle F1s on mine, found them to be really good especially in the wet.

i was gonna get toyo r888s but i ont really need them yet not enough power am gonna go with toyo tr1 i think is the name about 45 quid a rim gonna buy a set of 4 as all the shows are coming up soon
