Re: Catalytic Convertor

i was goin to use it to put mine through the mot
but she`s parked up in the garage so i wont be needing it

i got it for 80
£50+ postage or pickup, its up to you
regarding the difference`s the expencive ones have a threaded hole just behind the cat for another 02 sensor, if yours has a sensor after the cat then mine will be no good to you and im afraid you`ll have to go for the latter version, or if your good with a welder, you could buy mine and weld it to your existing system

Catalytic Convertor
Hi,My cat has both sensors on it and it attaches onto the manifold,so like its the down pipe into the cat then another section of pipe to the centre section, all in one piece. At the risk of sounding like a complete dafty, wasnt sure if it was just a case of drilling a hole and welding a nut to fit my 2nd sensor onto the pipe of an older style CAT.

i dont see anything wrong with doing that, its an even better idea than my cut and shuting the old/new cat
it would just be the case of finding the right type of size/thread of nut to weld on
