why not buy mine for half that and spend the rest on making it mint and have a rot free rust free 2001 gti?

stuff that doesnt work is rear fogs, demister and pass side window. all rest is fine. i used the car for 1300 miles- 6 or so weeks. end of the day i am not asking huge amount of money. the engine rebuild cost me close to that figure, and then add the 100 or so hours we spent on converting the engine, etc...

Gary, i never got round to fitting the RARB but now lost interest tbh as got a 2.5 BMW and cant keep spending money on swift any more.

with the demister and fog light being important, especially with winter coming up ill pass

Common sense is deffinetly not so common these days...

no, but obviously you inspect before you buy.

if you put your car up for 3k and say its mint people turn up and it isnt then they will walk away.... COMMON SENSE

so if the car you view is worth the 2k as it is mint, then no, it wont need repairs for the MOT

Hw much car experience have you actually got? And do you realise that unless you get the car on ramps and check all underside you wont know it its solid or not?
