What fuel grade you use

As title really.

What fuel you use in your GTI?

I have so far filled up with tesco's unleaded and asda's unleaded.
Not sure why bt my car seems to skip a bit on idle. Went to garage today and they said timing was fine, but it could be the fuel quality that affects it?

Got new dizzy cap and rotor, new plugs. Gonna get new leads soon too.

dont think it makes any difference tbh, run my car on the cheapest fuel i can find (113.9 unleaded in farnborough, woot!), has the fuel mixture of the engine changed at all?

It doesn't make difference on small power engines. I noticed some difference on my escort i had. Used different petrol stations and car reacted differently.

have you got a gti fuel pump and filter also check the pressure

i always run on shell v power whether it makes any difference or not i don't care i stay way from tesco fuel round here if possible because the garage where my dad works has had loads of lotus's and aston's in with idling issue after using fuel from tescos
