Re: intake manifold
its pretty much a straight swap, get it bored out to 60mm while its off the car, just incase you decide to change the TB later on

I have 3 engines with the uk type manifold and 1 with the other. I've read alot about the fuel rail's been differant 2, is this true and also is it worth changing?
Also wot is there any difference between a K reg motor and a N reg? is there any?
Thanks John

Re: intake manifold
The MK3 fuel rail has the fuel return lines on the outside and the MK2 has the return on the inside of the rail... MK3 better flow.
Only really an issue if you want high hp.
If you have a Cultus manifold then its worth changing as you will get some gains + they look better. Or sell it as they are worth £££.
There are a few little differences between the UK GTi MK2-MK3 engines.
The fuel rail as above, plenum accessories Pipes/valve's..., Cam cover breather holes... some have hollow cams.
