Rocker Cover Empty Rocker Cover

Hi, i just bought a gti and the rocker cover is a absolute mess (looks likes its been painted by a 5 years old) and was wondering if i take it off will the gasket need replacing? and also is there anything i should be aware of? or any tips while doing it?

no the gasket will not need replacing nothing to watch out for piece of pie. Try introducing yourself and posting up some pic's of your car before you just post in the future
