its out of 3 for me
the 309gti just handled perfectly
the alfa looked and sounded beutifull
and the swift has the ability to impress even though its a 1.3!

One of 3 for me but I can't work out exactely which one.
Sapphire RS Cosworth 4x4 (337BHP), monster to drive as nothing happened below 4500rpm then all hell broke loose, pain to live with day to day as the maintenance was never ending and the mpg was stupid, best ever 22mpg, worst, emptied the tank (16 galls) in less than 140 miles!!
Audi UR Quattro 20V Turbo (thats the original and true Quattro), only 240bhp but the noise of that 5 cylinder engine and the wastegate chattering .
And finally my current road car believe it or not,
Skoda Octavia VRS which to a certain degree has the pi** off factor that the Swift GTI has, not many people realise what it is especially Merc and BMW drivers, they look like a taxi but has the 1.8 20 valve turbo lump from the Audi TT (180bhp as standard, mine isn't ) so when you waste them in a Skoda they tend to get most miffed .

Re: What is your fav car that you have owned!!!
Old post but still wanna reply on this one.
Well...fav cars right?
OK!Here we go...
1. Top of the list is my first car my father's old VW Polo mkI '72!!It was a humble lil 0.9lt engine carb with the tremendous power of 42 roaring horses. Then swapped the engine into a 1.3lt Jetta engine put double Mikumi Carbs, some valve jobs etc etc eventually after owning the car for ~2.5 years i spend ~10000euros on it managed to boost 135whp but had a loving date with a cow field!!
2. Well here i list my father's track.A Nissan Vanette van 1.2lt carb which end up being powered by a NeoVVL 1.6ltN1 engine from JDM Pulsar 200hp with modified close ratio gearbox and NISMO rear limited differential. We used this at my father's village on summer vacation for doing field jobs etc.
3. Here i list my daily driver a Suzuki Baleno hatch '97 1.3GL.What can i say?The first car i bought with my own money.A humble G13B 16Valve SOHC engine boosting 86hp standard. Now it has ART Cultus JDM 12:1 pistons,H-Beam rods,GTi spring valves,GTi Ferrea valves, ported and polished and many Suzuki Sport parts inside the tranny borrowed from the Ignis Sport!!
4. Last but not least i place my lil baby.A '91 mkII phase1 Swift AA35S which i bought as a trackday car only! The car has tons of effort and work on it and so far is converted into GTi with engine, front and rear brakes.I just love it!Nothing sounds better than a 1.3lt TwinCam Suzuki Made engine at the peak of 8k,4-1header and a straight pipe!
Conclusion....I think i do have an interesting list of cars but nothing feels better than a Suzuki vehicle and a nice TwinCam engine pulling hard. All nice and loving cars but i admit it none of the above mentioned ever ever draw a wide smile on my face like my two lil Suzukis do!!

Re: What is your fav car that you have owned!!!
In honesty I'd say the swift I have now is the most fun. and my fave.
My wartburg (google it) is bloody lovely to drive really, just not fast or good handling, love it though.
I do miss my capri (hence the username). 3.1litre, 215bhp auto. didn't handle, drank fuel, was noisy as f*** and frankly downright dangerous. But it sounded great and went like a missile in a straight line
