Hi any one know of any where that makes stronger drive shafts and cv joints for the gti?

hi i think dmw dave makes them however the best option is to use the awd gearbox in fwd with 1600 shafts heck of alot stronger

i think you can but why would you want to do that the awd set is much stronger

thanks for that might have to look in to judt geting sum stronger ones made up us i dont want to change gear box as i have a dog gear set in it

ratios mate
it sounds like a good mod, but iv already spent the best part of 700 on my box
(gripper diff, all new bearings and seals, low mileage 3cyl cwp and syncros)
i wouldnt fancy paying out even more to change the ratios of the 4wd box to suit the gti engine just for a bit more strength in the shafts
