Reshell...
Hi all.
reshelling my N reg gti into a P reg 1.0 3cyl shell... everything is going okay so far except the wiring for the coil appears to be different... any tips?

rip the whole 3cylinder wiring loom out and just use the gti loom and lights ect.

How did you get on with bolting the engine in mate, im looking into doing the same thing.

had to do a power steering delete and fit the non ps rack from my gti. other than that it all bolted right in

Yeah I was wrong the bolts are hidden... in other news would anyone be interested in a joblot including two swifts. one a genuine gti but the shell has had it.. and a 1.0 shell that is solid. the gti shell has a stainless cat back exhaust and koni shocks on the back. engine and gearbox are solid. £600 for the lot.. text 07889543854 for more info.

here are the holes... once you get the first one you are okay. pilot 4mm hole or so then carefully use a 10mm bit to open it up.
