Hi guys
Basically i've noticed paint being scraped of the inner front wheel arch due to the front wheel rubbing. Why would this happen? My wheels are 195/50/15 and 45 offset. The car has had no accident but as far as i know my wheel sizes should clear it easily. What should I do?

Stock the swift came with 14xNarrow wheels, when you go 15 inch with 195/50 tires, they will rub..
when your et is high they rub the inside, when your et is low, they rub the arches.
No real middle where they wont rub.

You can do the following:
-lower and/or narrower tyres
-lower et wheels and work the arches a bit

Ok, I've got et32 I'll be putting on later. The rear arches are flared so that won't be a problem. But how can I do work to the front arch.without losing the inner mud guard?

The et45 don't scrape too deep. If I just slightly space them will that stop it rubbing inside and outside?

I took the mudguards off and coated the inside of the wheelwells.
Those mudguards are more mud and dirt keepers, and they will rust behind em.. Very Happy
