gearbox conversion
Hi everyone
Ok, i'm looking to put the justy 4wd gearbox into my gti fwd. My mate is breaking a 4 door justy. Before he scraps the rest of it I need to know exactly what i need from him for this conversion as everything is available. I know I need the g.box, flywheel and half shaft. Anything else?

Re: gearbox conversion
think you will need the gear shifter & cables, as justy is cable shift,
obviously you will need a blanking plate aswell
is your gti, turbo?
Does he still have the rear diff and viscous?

He's giving me whatever I need. The diff and viscous will still be on. I'll have to make a blanking plate myself. How much bhp can these g.boxes take?

Re: gearbox conversion
Got all the bits needed for the conversion. The transfer box and viscous is for sale. the transfer box comes off in two sections. Do I blank it from the first or second section?
Also I bought the whole power steering set up so I'll probably put that in the sale section.

The guy is scrapping it with the diff and viscous still attached. He said I can take if off myself. I want £150 for it as its an absolute pig to get off.
