overheating during load
at about 70mph when i accelerate fully the temp gauge goes up and carrys on i let off when it gets near 3/4, can anyone help?

sensor on head is it actually over heating does it over heat on idle fan on ?

no it doesnt overheat on idle, only when accelerating hard

noo its got coolant in it, it is very odd though its like the temp gauge is wired to the speedo or something, i'm guessing i have some wires crossed or something.

boils at 100c average running temps are 90c so wont take long for water to boil up if theres enough load

isnt it pressurized? so the boiling point would be higher btw

its all bled up and its got coolant, im goin to check all the wires because i dont know if it could be a loose ground, the car doesnt overheat when its stood, the fan doesnt even kick in, cheers for your feedback every one.

ive been unplugging and checking, when i take out the drive for the speedo the temp goes to max, does anybody know why it would do that or is it a mystery?

To be on the safe side mate id get a inline temp sensor and a seperate guage?

is it just ur temp gauge playing up? or is it ur fuel and rev gauges aswell?
Mine was doing this (40secs on shows it better), both the fuel & temp gauges go right up and tacho does what it wants.
