hand break adjustment ??
is there any way to adjust the hand brake on the rear calipers? im having issues with one side locking up and the other isn't doing much at all, the cables are free as a bird you can move them with your hand and hear the linkage inside the car moving so that tel me its caliper related ?? is there a way to adjust them ? cheers

Re: hand break adjustment ??
theres a adjuster under the interior plastic console that goes over the handbrake. its only one adjuster so if one side is stretched you can use washers to balance them out

oh thanks Steve i know about that one which is adjusted up to a limit where if its adjusted anymore it locks the side up thats working, is there a possibilty of the caliper being seized?

Could be a sticky cable, unhook it from the adjuster and caliper, both should be free, if one is sticky use some wd40, it might loosen it up

yeah i have one of those rebuild kits of ebay, just unsure if its a job i can do myself with it having the hand brake built in but been looking at it again today seems it is moving and hand brake is working just don't release so its keeping hand brake on when applied, do u think it will loosen up if i keep moving it back n forth or any other ideas how to free it up?

ive had the same problem for months ever since i replaced a rear caliper, i even went to suzuki and spoke to a mechanic there and he said maybe a strecthed snapped or siezed cable but cables are fine so i bleed them and again fine but still no hand brake on one side so i just park it in gear now
