Re: fuel regulator
Wtf is that! Lol just get a sard or any other aftermarket afpr and mod your std fuel rail. You can adjust it to what ever psi/bar pressure u need. and your std fuel pump will be fine

Re: fuel regulator
low pressure so thats the type you want, many moons ago thats what all fuel regs looked like
They used to call them fse power boost valve back in the 90s
You can get a better version with a glass bowl/ filter on the bottom
But they are still a bit crap compared to modern low pressure regs, keep seaching youl find something, its an important part so dont get one coz its cheap, I learnt that lesson a long time ago

Re: fuel regulator
Keep std gti pump and ecu and all other sensors that arnt in the way hooked up, you will have the engine light on but thats just a bulb, the ecu will cut the fuel if it thinks youv crashed
Good quality low pessure fuel reg,you can use an in line gauge after the reg, just make sure its oil filled gauge or you will get a funny reading, the reg dusnt need one itself, handy but not essential, block off the return hose, mk1 dizzy and a oldskool coil, bit of tuning and your done

Re: fuel regulator
That'l do just fine mate, you will need to trackdown the rev counter wire going from the std coil, or you can get an aftermarket one, if you like that sorta thing
