If it wasnt for the damn things rusting Id have had one...the escort was bad enough...well it had 3 spots but the guys I know who havent had the cash to buy one in excellent condition have had to replace plenty of parts and on top of that the UK does not seem flush with them nor good for the rust in them. Great looking cars but th ejapaneese copied english design from the 60's and early 70's and they rsut so bad.
Better off in Australia, just. I used to compete against one which was on triple webbers, went ok but your right it looked just so...
