yeh there just dc2 wheels, all the 4 spoke ones are 4x114.3 same as swift i think they were on integras till 1996 i think the tyres are 195/55/15 im going to get some 3mm wheel spaces though because they slightly touch the inside of the inner arch

Nah, i reckon they look good as is! JDOG, get some pics up at diffrent angels, but from that pic they look sweet!

The gti hub centre doesent look like it has alot of room on it so whats the max spacer that could be used to still leave enough room for the wheel to still be sitting on the hub centre?

I wanted to get my car through a mot next friday but iv ran into a fucking problem thats pissed me right off, the shell is a 1996 gls so it has to have a shitty catalytic converter, for this to even work properly I need a 02 sensor etc but iv used phase 1 engine loom and ecu which doesnt use a 02 sensor so im pretty fucked now as what to do, iv got 3 exhaust systems none of them have a cat either Sad Anyone on here know of anywhere that does dodgy mot's just for the cat thing iv replaced everything that the car could possibly fail on elephant

Can you buy a cheap shit used cat with a big enough inlet and outlet, gut it and slide it over your exhaust and clamp it in place or weld it in place so it looks like you have a cat?

Depends on what your emissions are like, the "cat" certainly won't be doing anything, but of your engines running sweet it might still pass.

You could bung a garage a beer token and ask them to check your emissions to see if it would pass.

I dont think it would ever pass as the ecu and stuff iv used is from a 1990 swift so emmisions didnt even matter for that car, but because of my shell age the cars emmisions are ment to be very clean

ive already told you, tell them the engine is from a pre 92 gti and they will do the emissions test to that engine which doesnt need a cat

i dont see why a garage say they wouldnt want to loose there license, its only emissions ur not goin to get pulled and ur emissions checked.

Glad you have a plan but........

I reckon you should try another garage! Sounds like a bunch amateurs.

A cars shell doesent produce any emmisions, its the bloody engine! The engine has to be emissions tested not the bodywork! If you have a pre 92 engine fitted no cat is required.

By the logic they are useing i could by a toyota prius, take out the motor and fit a 600bhp v12 and still pay no road tax Shocked

Oh, and where are those bloody pics Laughing Your car looks sweet MOT or not Cool
