Re: Crank pulley
I'm no daft bud I would know if it was the timing pulley lol
It was the aux pulley. Heard a noise and the battery light came on, initial thought the belt snapped but when I pulled in the pulley was dangling there lucky it's quite tight to the chassis so I didn't lose it completely.
This is just a continuation of my other thread and to how incompetent the previous owner was. I really hope they weren't tightened properly and worked their way slack and haven't snapped in the crank

Re: Crank pulley
they are only suposed to have 10lb torque so either they were over tightened and sheared or just wernt done up enough, either way you might want to get the crank/fly balanced when you do the rebuild just incase the vibrations was a factor
