standard wheel stud lenght?

anybody happen to know the standard wheel stud length for the swift ? i need to change mine for longer ones to space the wheel out so i can lower my coilovers more as its currently rubbing the inner tyre wall.

I know this as I'm making my Mini drive flange to take Swift studs!

dont think theres any longer made for the gti, but i believe some honda's fit.

I thought any M12 fine thread will do.
I have Nissan Qashqai M12 which are 65mm lenght or so from ebay.
I measured mine off rear hub as I have 3 set of disc brakes and I took one set out. Stud complete legth is 41mm.

whats the knurl diameter of the qashai studs? do they have splines aswell?

if its too small it will be too loose and too big will need modification

Well, I have checked and they are too big.

It is 14.3 and 65mm length. If you are doing PCD change like myself, then it will be ideal I guess.
I can get mine machine out to 14mm now!

ahh looks like ive got a mission on my hands here!! well other then extended studs how else can i space my wheel out to alow me to drop coilovers more? looks like i need about a 10-15mm spacers, tried 5mm spacer still too small. But then the honda ones arnt much longer and ive got alu lugs which only have 7 full turns which im not sure is enough ?? would some adjustable top mounts make a differance? if so where can i get them? failing this do i change studs, drill hubs out to 14mm and pull some 14.3 studs through? what would u guys recommend? any help appreciated.

Hi,

You could ask engineering shop to make you a PCD change spacers.
It will be fitting spacer onto your hub as it is and it will have counter sank wheel nut to hold your spacer to your hub. then your spacer will have 4 std length studs. This way, you can change PCDs from 100 to 114.3 and so on. But your case will be making it into 114.3 to 114.3 with spacer plate of 25 to 30mm.
You can get them made with 30mm Ali plate and it will be much better than steel plates.

use the longer honda stud marked on the table believe its 70mm.

*long stud S3270

get a reamer and open the existing holes up as required to suit the longer and larger Diameter studs. if you have a bench drill its easy if not take your time. Its not rocket science
