Engine rebuild advice

hey Im going to be doing a engine rebuild soon but I just want to know if you can tell me everything thing I need to buy for it Im going to be using 76mm pistons that are 12-0-1 compression and multi layered suzuki head gasket, where is the best place for bottom end shells and conrod bearings etc all all the other gaskets etc

I am aiming for 120-130 bhp with other mods etc

I used these = Uk ebay item 110129796937 for the gasket set and ozzey ebey item   180497257395 for the bearings

I will work out how much it will cost to bore it out for that size first.
If you get 75mm Honda pistons, you can Vitara head gasket. But 76mm ... I don't know.
Shells are better off buying from Suzuki main dealer as they are colour coded from factory.
My friend bought cheap set and span big end and needed to reaplce again. He uses his car for rally and has Bill Falkner head so his engine rev to 9k rpm....

You also wants to change head bolts so it will end up costing you nearly £1k.
Honda pistons will need machining to fit Suzuki conrods....

I sold some honda p29 pistons couple months ago because i couldnt be assed with getting them machined etc to fit conrods the pistons and cultus cams and head gasket im getting from strider and im not paying anything for it all just swapping parts, im going to buy everything i need slowly so in a few months time il have everything

you wont need head bolts stock ones are good for 300bhp lol andy runs them i run them dmw dave has run them in many a engine etc

Boring usually costs £20 per cylinder. but i thought it was pretty risking boring a standard block than much, Thought i read that dmw dave had loads of blocks sonic tested or sumting and only a couple were up to it.

I'm saying to buy new head bolts. Did I say "buy ARP head" or anything!?
I used to work in Fastener business and once std Suzuki ones are used, they do stretch.
I work in trading company and sell expensive torque wrenches as well as angle torque wrenches.
I visit Nissan engine department where they check for quality and so on.
When std bolts are used, they tighten it to stage that it is stretched using angle wrench. So once it is used, I wouldn't like to use it again in high CR engine or turbo engine.
You will have head gasket problem, I think....

Strider's parts... I don't know how much it cost you.
Bill Falkner says that you can bore it out to 76.5mm OK.
I would just bore it out to 75mm as you can buy Suzuki OEM off Vitara and so on.
I'm trying to save you money here as you want to do a lot of things to your car.

haha yeh well im going 76mm i here you can go to 77mm max after that its really dodgy, how much are the apr head bolts roughly? surely if the standard bolts stretch when you torque them up just do it like a tiny tiny bit tighter or something :/

i really wudnt risk re using standard head bolts its not worth the hassle, and those headgaskets arent cheap.
the cheapest place i found the arp headbolts were suzukird think it was about £80~

You are missing a point here!
You can use std bolts but replace it each build.
Or buy 10.8/12.9 cap head bolts. You should be able to buy them for half of the cost of OEM head bolts and they are reusable.
I have never said to buy ARP bolts but you can ask Garndi/Stevegti2.

head bolts from the bmw m50 engines fit fine and cost alot less supprisingly also will have some left over
