Stripped out inside of swift now got a roll cage to go in Also got some harness's so just need to get a bucket seat and inside will be almost finished

is the strut brace sprayed silver? or is it chrome plated?

i sanded mine down loads today and it looks pretty chrome

spray some laqer on it or something maybe i was going to sand it to spray black but looks good sanded

Cars Now stripped out and i have started fitting roll cage

nice strut brace does look nice

Will look alot better once i tidy up rest of engine bay

Well change of plan roll cage is out so far bought:
2 Track rod ends
2 wheel bearings
wiper blades
Brake pipe
4 New tires
2 Front wings
2 front bulbs to replace HID kit
some sheet metal
Some paint for components

So plans are on saturday im fitting every thing bar wings as they are coming on wedensday then getting sprayed, Got a fellow collegue (sp) to weld it Then its getting mot'd asap.

So will update with pics on saturday

Right so i started cleaning up the sills for welding and there alot worse than i thought so i have ordered two new sills and a heap of metal. After seeing a fellow members gti im annoyed at how good it looks so im planning a complete respray and rebuild the engine keep it n/a but go for big power and maybe retrim the seats. So first of all im going to get it welded and mot it then run it for a while till i can find a cheap run around then strip engine out respray the whole car and build the engine

lol just get it rebuilt and it'll be perfect, i see you had a nova sr for your first car ive had 3 novas Swifts are so much more fun though

Yeh had a few sr's back in the day! Aye I'm gonna strip it next weekend for inspection

Spoke to my painter at lunch he's going to spray it perlesent white

aye., will do. For some reason photobucket doesnt work on my laptop, strange same as hotmail and on gumtree i cant change pics on ads.
