G13B????

Hi i have a swift 1,3L sohc. It's not a gt or gti. But on the block is stands G13B. Is this the same block as the gt/gti engine? And will the gearbox from this 1,3 sohc fit my 1,3 dohc gt? Thanks:)

are you shure? Anyone else that can confirme this? I't not that i thrust you, but i would hate to buy new parts for the wrong gearbox. It do make sense that it will fit. Thanks man:)

dont put the sohc gearbox on your gti engine!

i have this currently and allthough 3rd returns 110mph, 4th and 5th are not useable at all! they are too long for the gti and the engine is unable to maintain speed let alone pick up any in those gears.

80mph sits at 3000rpm in 5th, so good for a run im sure, however performance wise its terrible! my 1.2 corsa picks up in 5th much much better!

Yes. Thanks for the tip. As long as it fits. I just going to use this gearbox when i fix the gti box. If i know my self correctly, it will take some time before i bother to fix it. I will propably cange it and have it laying around. But the plan is ofcorse to fix it:)
