g13k?????

Can n e 1 help me i found a full gasket set on international ebay and it says its 4 the swift gti but the engine code says g13k, will this gasket set fit my mk2 ph1?

G13K is the engine code commonly used, yes it will be fine i just made sure it sed 16v, dohc or 100hp.
i brought them on ebay usa if it helps

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! thanx 4 that m8 thats spot on, dont suppose u got a link 2 a piston kit? are them bearings the only1s im gonna need? im quite clueless when it comes 2 internals and stuff

if ur clueless about it i wouldnt do it unless u have alot of free time.
thats the main and rod bearings and thrust washers all of them. u will wanna measure ur crank before u order them tho.

bridge end garage in wadebridge are building mine and he sed he could have got standard pistons(+.5mm) for ~£220 +vat.

£20 per cylinder to be bored.

U could try emailing that 'mizumoauto' on ebay and see if theyd get u a price or if they can get them.

for lower compression yes.

if there is nothing wrong with ur pistons or bores then u wont need new pistons

So ur going turbo! i wish i had the wedge 2 go turbo im just going 2 start slowly buying bits after ive finished what i want 2 do wth her at the mo. i was just thinking u were the bloke who went 2 the cruise in plymouth aint ya. did u go 2 the last 1? the police ruined it it was pants.

he did quote me £7-800 to start with with him getting bits for standard rebuild which price at £300 sumhow(only rings bearings and gaskets).
iv brought all the parts myself, saved alot and spent it on more parts lol. its a completely different build now so ill just wait for the bill to see, as its been bored out now and is having the flywheel lightened. iv been told he is the man thats y i went there as its along way from me. and a mate had a huge bill and a blown engine after he went to sum1 localy in falmouth.
i aint goin turbo for a while probably the summer when i dont have to go plymouth every week, save some fuel.
yh i went to the other cruise but not this 1, didnt fancy rocking up in my white 1.8 diesel ford escort van tbh , but i herd they was no go-karts and burnouts but was packed.

2 be honest i havnt heard of the modified mania, when and where is it i mite cum a long. i would get the rings from suzuki but ive heard they rape u with the price and im keeping it as cheap as possible cuz im building it, and i aint got n e cofidence in my building skills.

if you give up or what ever can u gimme a shout as id probably take it off your hands, but i hope it doesnt go tits up.
