How to post pics? Sorry!

Sorry for the dumb question guys but cant figure it out!

I have seen the add image button at the top of the text box but when i click on that it asks for a 'url' (i think) Isnt that a link to a web based pic? I wanna search my pc fo a pic on my hard drive like you can on teamswift for example.

I know it must be pretty straight forward and im just beeing a tool but cant figure it out!

sign up yo a site called photobucket or a similar one then once you have an account wich is 100% free you will be able to import photos into it which will be saved on their site then you will have an album with lots of links one of which wuill be for forums etc post a copy of that linkl in your post and the photo will apear
