Re: BANG! June 2016
Im using 285mm rover 800 discs and new! second hand calipers.
Wilwood Part number is 120-7380 though these are larger pistons than the garndi setup uses and of course the bracket Im using is custom to suit the bigger discs and justy hub vs 262mm discs and GTi Hub
cheers

now with Konis
Bought myself some new konis in from Germany and got to fitting them today, also lowered it another 7mm so a total of 42ish mm drop, no photos but thought Id post it up. Car is firm and controlled now, feels better too.
the brakes have broken in amazingly, damn dusty brake pads though, begining to stain the wheels and they come of every week to be washed at the moment.
cheers,

ebay from germany is where i got them. Do a GTi Koni search with worldwide turned on.
220 euro per end plus 20 euro DHL courier, 3 days from purchase to arriving.
best I was quoted here was 125 pounds per corner

Re: BANG! June 2016
On holidays so began the bodywork...also thought Id get creative with the guide coat.
so far have both rear quarters, drivers door rear bumper and middle of bonnet done, front arches are new so just need priming and topcoat, tiny dent in roof and below drivers mirror still to fix.
Cheers,

despite having many cars for over 20 years this is the first time I have invested in real audio
Though I didnt spend a lot Im happy with the outcomes
Fusion CA-IP500 head unit 5x40 with woofer out ipod sits inside behind the face
2xFusion EN-AM56004 Amplifiers
95 Watts RMS per chanel at 4 Ohms
140 @2
270 Bridged @4
4 ALPINE 180W 2WAY 10cm/4" SXE Speakers in dash and rear 1/4
2 Fusion Encounter 6x9's 260watt @4 ohm in parcel shelf and finally
1 Fusion Encounter 10 inch 300 watt sub tube 30-250Hz
Also got a ripspeed 7 inch screen which Im toying with installing

Re: BANG! June 2016
real audio pah! more weight i got standard tape deck in 1 and shitty head unit in another with 1 speaker that you can't even hear over the engine rather save a few kilos plus its a scientific fact if you drive past jailbait with exhaust and induction your less likely to go to prison if you drive past playing bass

Re: BANG! June 2016
V8 would be slow in a straight line and slow around corners wouldnt fit without massive firewall mods and put me in the wrong class, the cossie is built for 400HP as is and the bottom end will handle 800 if I can afford the headwork and big ass turbo and motec. in the future maybee.
