I think the input shaft is 20/35/5.5. I usually have to buy 20/35/5 as they don't do 5.5 (make sure you get the double lip seal/one with the dust seal).

I will have to check my seals information about the GB/cv's seals.

Will get back to you.

Internal they are both 35
External 53 and 62
Thickness 7 for the big one and 10 for the small one.
My gauge may not be state of the art....
I'm pretty sure one of these seals is pretty much Suzuki specific.

thanks all, got the part numbers, just wish i wrote down all of the sizes aswell Very Happy
had a good look underneath
i rekon its the input shaft seal, just drained what was left and its more than what would be in there if the d shaft seals had gone
both the shafts look fairly dry and most of the oil is around the bell so its gota be the input seal, im taking the box out later so i`l find out then
iv got a spare box but 2nd has gone so i was just gone poach the casing
but if you`v got a spare new input shaft seal steve i`l take it mate, and send you a replacement when it arrives
i`l pm you my address

Hi Gary,

If you need apre bell housing let me know.
I got a G10 gearbox so I can take it off and send it to you.

Hi Gary,

What is this pin you are talking about?

I can take out G10 gearbox casing as I'm trying to reduce my spares.
I have a mk2 Gti gearbox 30k miles one so as long as I keep internals of G10. I should be OK. As you know, I have 4x mk1 Gti gearboxes and adaptor plate if I need to get stronger box off a Vauxhall as well!

You have carried out a lot of welding works for me so don't worry about delivery cost.

How soon do you need this casing?

Cheers

one of the 3 pins for locating the clutch cover, which means it a bit out of ballance so i wont be driving it like this for to long
no rush on the casing, shes up and running again yesterday
i only need it so i can rebuild my spare box
i was quite lucky opening my spare, the 6 screws in the 5th gear plate didnt round off at all
iv split about 5 boxes and this is the 1st time its gone smoothly Cool

Hi,

Ok, I shall start to take my gearbox apart as I take such a long time!
I will send it down with everything else soon.

Cheers
