What Tyres??

Hi all,

Just got some new wheels for the swift, now need some tyres, they are 15x7j

What size, and make/model tyres should i get.

Any recommendations??

Hi,

How about Kumho or Hankook?
I have used Kumho with Silica compound andthey were great even in wet.
It was cheaper than any other make at the time.
I tried Nagkang and it was like plastic so don't buy them.

I here Toyo is best but could be expensive. If you are doing track days and sprints, may be good but for everyday use Korean tyres are good also.

fuck t1Rs get hankook rs2 s much better and only a little more expensive wouldent go 45s either go with 50s

yokohama parada spec 2's

paradas are ok not as good as the hankook paradas are rubbish in thew wet

yeah there not the best in the wet i've never had them on my swift i had them on my 306 and they were awesome in the dry

you need to get yokohama ad08's in 1955015,got them on my race car and worth a second a lap compared to t1r's and ive done around 60 laps on them and they hardly look used compared to t1r's that are soft as shite and nearly worn out in the same amount of lap time

price wise is about the same,just need to have a search around to get them

I was originally thinking the Toyo T1R's or the Yoko prada spec 2's, but now a few more have been thrown in the mix.
